We also develop institutional linkages that allow for exchange programs, benchmarking, and research mentoring. These partnerships serve as bridges for continuous knowledge exchange—ensuring that Mapúa MCL’s academic communities are aligned with global standards and open to interdisciplinary collaboration,” Dr. Hermie V. It is the first dedicated AI engineering degree in the Philippines. It is designed with reference to the Philippine Skills Framework for Analytics and AI to address the growing demands for AI engineers across sectors. We have core courses, but some applied AI projects that we’re thinking about right now are engaged in real-world projects addressing Philippine challenges like disaster response AI systems, agricultural yield optimization, healthcare diagnostics for underserved areas, and local language processing tools.
