It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our President and Chief Executive Officer, Martin O. Tuason.

Martin’s journey with Armscor began in his teenage years. In 2012, he was elected President and CEO of Armscor Global Defense, Inc. His vision, exemplary leadership, unwavering integrity, and steadfast commitment to excellence elevated the company into a world-class institution. Under his guidance, Armscor reached significant milestones and strengthened its standing in both the commercial and defense industries. A deeply patriotic leader, Martin carried an enduring pride for the Philippines and dedicated his work to strengthening the nation’s capability, reputation, and global presence. His legacy will continue to shape our direction for years to come.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Martin was deeply dedicated to philanthropic work. Through Armscor’s Biglang Awa at Tanglaw sa mga Anghel (BATA) Foundation in Marikina, he provided shelter, education, and support for underprivileged girls. He was known for his generosity, particularly toward employees, and for his genuine care for the communities we serve.

A staunch supporter of the Self-Reliant Defense Posture (SRDP) program, Martin successfully advocated for the passage of the SRDP Revitalization Act (Republic Act No. 12024) aimed at strengthening the country’s defense industry, lessening our dependence on foreign suppliers. and empowering local companies.

In accordance with our established succession and continuity plan, our Deputy CEO, Ms. Gina Marie Angangco, will assume leadership of Armscor Global Defense, Inc. Together with the Executive Management Team, she will ensure operational continuity and uphold the strategic course Martin set for the organization.

We texted our heartfelt sympathies to the Tuason family during this difficult time. We respectfully ask for everyone’s support and understanding as we honor Martin’s memory and uphold the values he championed throughout his exemplary leadership.
