Riot Games and VALORANT introduced Miks, the newest Controller joining the agent roster during the grand finals of VALORANT Masters Santiago. Straight from Croatia, Miks takes the stage channeling pure sound energy. With his infectious passion and sonic powers, he rallies his squad to move as one as they set the tempo on the battlefield together. Check out his reveal cinematic at Valorant’s YouTube channel, featuring “Clarity (VALORANT x BUNT. Remix),” a fresh spin on Zedd’s iconic track by rising DJ and producer BUNT.

“I’ve loved games my whole life, and VALORANT has been one of those worlds I kept coming back to. Making music for it is a real honor,” shares BUNT.

“With Miks, we wanted to lean into his vibrant sonic identity and build something that matches his presence in-game. His upbeat energy and natural ability to create and manipulate sound made a remix the perfect direction, especially with a track like ‘Clarity’ that already carries such a powerful aura and undeniable energy. BUNT was able to reimagine it in a way that feels both nostalgic and distinctly VALORANT, while amplifying the spirit Miks brings to the game,” said Jonny Altepeter, Lead Music Supervisor at Riot Games.

“We approached the sound design of Miks’ abilities by first creating music, then extracting the most vibey elements and building the sound effects from there,” said Kevin Meier, Game Designer on VALORANT. “Music is also a big part of Miks’ backstory prior to joining VALORANT, which we’re excited for players to hear more about in the future. His background reinforces his high-energy, social personality, since music is inherently mood lifting, just like he is.”

Harmonize is one of Miks’ abilities where you can target an ally and fire to activate a Combat Stim on yourself and the ally that refreshes with each kill. You can also grant yourself a Combat Stim by pressing ALT-FIRE. M-pulse is the second ability where you can toggle between Concuss and Healing outputs by pressing ALT-FIRE. FIRE to throw the device. Upon landing, M-pulse sends out sound waves, either Concussing or Healing players.

Waveform is the third ability of Miks where you can fire two smokes to selected locations on your Map Targeter. To activate this by using PC, equip a Map Targeter and fire to set locations. Press ALT-FIRE to spawn smokes at selected locations. But if you’re playing in Console, equip a Map Targeter. Press ALT-FIRE to set locations and fire to spawn smokes at selected locations. 

Bassquake is Miks’ ultimate where you can fire to build up and unleash Sonic Radiance forward, knocking back, Deafening, and Slowing players.

Miks was released on March 18, 2026 as part of Season 2026 // Act 2. This new act also introduces the Blackthorn Collection and a new Battlepass featuring items such as the Soulburst Bandit, Dragon Gate Phantom, Flick of the Wrist Card and more.
